Center kicks off research into curbing youth violence

The Center on Culture, Immigration, and Youth Violence Prevention is launching its first year of research projects with the help of federal grant money from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The UC Berkeley-based coalition will begin research on violence prevention methods that are based in school programs.

UC Berkeley opens new youth violence research center

The Institute for the Study of Social Change at the University of California, Berkeley, has been awarded a $4.3 million grant by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to open a new center to study youth violence.
